Summary
William H. Page established his own foundry for the manufacture of wood type in Norwich, Connecticut around 1856 and moved the plant to the Greenville suburb of Norwich around 1859 or 1859. The company continued to expand throughout the 1860s. In 1876, it was reorganized as William H. Page Wood Type Company. This catalog displays large scale wood type for use in the printing of posters --Kelly, R. R. "American Wood Type: 1820-1900," pages 43-44.

Summary

This catalog includes: wood type, cuts, ornaments, and rule, as well as a small selection of presses and printers' equipment and supplies. It also includes German type.
