NTID Performing Arts Performance of US October 17 & 18, 1975 Written and Directed by Jerome Cushman The major function of the N.T.I.D. Drama Club's mime play "US" is to introduce the hearing to the deaf. The story revolves around two young, college age lovers. the fathers and friends of this couple try to separate the two and test their love through mischievous antics of a male, Puck-like character and his female counterpart The plot progresses and becomes entangled through magic and disguise, with music and dance, with masks and capes, with slap sticks and surprises. "US" is a comedy. No harm is done; rather the characters becomes wiser from the experience.
