In 1869 William H. Golding went into business at 14 Kilby Street in Boston, but adopted the name Golding & Co. by 1875, also moving from Kilby Street to 40 Washington Square (later renamed Fort-Hill Square.). The company would begin to be called Golding Manufacturing Co. towards the end of the 19th century. This pamphlet gives a detailed account of the Golding Jobber, described as the "most highly developed type of modern job printing press."
