This edition...has been planned at the Officina Bodoni and printed in Verona at the Stamperia Valdonega by Giovanni Mardersteig...fifteen hundred copies...-Colophon. Cary specimen binding copy is a concave spine binding by James Brockman with toned vellum flyleaves and doublures with alum-tawed calf inner joints, edges gilt before sewing, double endbands in black, gray, white, and gold thread, covered full black goatskin over grooved boards which echo the concave spine, tooled in three shades of gold leaf and palladium, polished stainless steel onlays in the shape of a Roman sword, onlaid white quarter leather, and enclosed in a felt lined box.
