"Diggings from Many Ampersandhogs" is a collected work of several short chapbooks on the subject of the ampersand character in use with the Latin alphabet. This reproduction shows Frederic W. Goudy's section entitled "Ands & Ampersands." This copy, which was prepared specially for Melbert B. Cary, Jr., consists of all the chapbooks stacked in a decorative slipcase. It is decorated with a countersunk metal ampersand on the cover.
